The Africa Trade Centre rises on Nakasero hill as one of Kampala's most significant commercial developments — a high-rise headquarters and trade facility delivered for Afreximbank with Symbion Consulting Group as architect. Horasi serves as consultant engineers on the project, working as a sub-consultant to Symbion across the structural, civil, and MEP-coordination scope.
This is placeholder editorial copy for the scaffold. Final project narrative, photography, and technical figures will be supplied during the content pass. The structure of this page — full-bleed hero, engineering title block, prose, and technical highlights — is the template every project case study inherits.
01 · Foundations
Placeholder description of the foundation design — piling strategy, ground conditions on the Nakasero ridge, and the load paths that carry the tower into competent strata. Replace with the engineered figures and rationale.
02 · Superstructure
Placeholder description of the superstructure — the framing system, floor plates, lateral stability strategy, and how the structural grid resolves the architectural massing. Replace with real detail.
03 · Coordination
Placeholder description of the MEP-coordination scope — how services were routed and coordinated against the structure to protect floor-to-ceiling heights and keep the build programme on track.
Placeholder pull quote — a single sentence from the engineering team about what made this project demanding, to be supplied with the final content.
The narrative closes here for now. Full copy lands in the content pass.
